- The Air-Pot® is to horticulture what Leonardo da Vinci was to renaissance Italy: genius. Hyperbole? Not a chance. With its groundbreaking design, these pots have been made to 'air prune' a plant's roots, which in turn encourages greater, healthier root development overall.
- This cycle of pruning and root stimulation continues until a dense, fibrous mat of roots have grown (the holes also help eliminate the risk of root circling). But how, we hear you ask, can some holes in a pot do all of this? Well, the holes expose the root tips to the surrounding air, which dries the roots out and causes them to die, leading to new, branching root development.
- Used by professional horticulturalists in over 40 countries around the world, Air-Pots® have (understandably) garnered industry-wide recognition, with their makers consistently finding new and innovative ways in which to improve the containers.
